My first and most important 301 re-direct. August 14, 2009

As you read, I’m using datasheetreference.com rather than http://www.datasheetreference.com.   Well, those are different things to Google and you don’t want their oh-so-mighty algorithm splitting link love between two different things.

You solve this with a 301 redirect.  I redirected the Google crawlers that I have permanently moved http://www.datasheetreference.com to datasheetreference.com.   Again, this is easy.  In goDaddy hosting, there is a redirect function.  Set it, forget it.

I had never set up this kind of thing.  To figure it out and execute it, I spent 30 minutes.
